Colorado Springs Neighborhood Report ~ Cimarron Eastridge and Cimarron Westridge

Cimarron Eastridge and Cimarron Westridge are 2 mature neighborhoods on the east side of town – just east of Powers. Cimarron Eastridge is east of Peterson Road and Cimarron Westridge is west of Peterson Road. Both neighborhoods sit between Palmer Park Blvd. and Constitution. These neighborhoods are to the immediate north of Cimarron Hills.

Cimarron Eastridge and Westridge are in an unincorporated part of El Paso County, so even though they are addressed as “Colorado Springs” they do not share the Colorado Springs school district (D-11) nor are they covered by Colorado Springs Utilities. The school district for these neighborhoods is Falcon School District 49. The homes in Cimarron Eastridge and Cimarron Westridge are serviced by the following utility companies:

• Cimarron Eastridge/Westridge Water: Cherokee Water District
• Cimarron Eastridge/Westridge Gas: Aquila Gas Company
• Cimarron Eastridge/Westridge Electric: Mountain View Electric Company

The Cimarron Eastridge and Cimarron Westridge Neighborhoods are:

• Just a couple minutes from Peterson AFB and Schriever Air Field
• A 10 minute drive down Powers to Fort Carson Army Base
• Less than 5 minutes from the Colorado Springs Municipal Airport
• Home to the popular Cherokee Ridge Golf Course
• Minutes from the shopping/restaurant/entertainment on Powers Corridor
• About 10 minutes from Citadel Mall

• Built between the late 1970’s and the early 1980’s>
• 3-4 bedrooms
• 2-3 bathrooms
• 1-2 car garages
• About 1,500 total square feet
• Most homes are tri-levels and bi-levels with a few ranch style homes.
• Most homes in Cimarron Eastridge and Cimarron Westridge sell in the mid-$100’s
