Colorado Springs Real Estate Connection: Free eBooks from the Pikes Peak Library District

Sitting down to read a good book, in this day and age, can be difficult – if not impossible. As a Colorado Springs real estate agent, I rarely have the time it takes to find a book to read, let alone actually read one. However, reading a book no longer means flipping through pages on your front porch. Today, we have the luxury of having books read to you in the form of audio books.

I love audio books. I “read” more books while driving around neighborhoods in Colorado Springs and working out than I did while in high school!

Well, thanks to Unclutter (one of my favorite websites) I found out that our local library – here in Colorado Springs offers FREE audio books that you can download onto your computer .. and onto a CD or your MP3 player!

Per the Pikes Peak Library District website:

“Browse and check out eAudios, eBooks, and Videos 24 hours a day, seven days a week! At the eBranch you can access the eCatalog, find information on software downloads, and link to other free eBook resources. The eBranch offers a growing collection of fiction, nonfiction, and video materials, from classic to popular titles as they become available and the District’s resources allow. We hope you enjoy this new service @ your library®.”

I have browsed through some of the selections and was impressed at how many titles they offered for both eBooks and even videos.

The best part of this is that it is FREE! All you need is a library card.
