Northeast Colorado Springs is not what most people think of when they think of “Northeast” Colorado Springs. This title was given to this area before the Briargate, Northgate and the Powers areas were built. Northeast Colorado Springs real estate is all neighborhoods south of Woodmen Road, roughly west of Powers Boulevard, east of I-25 and mostly North of Austin Bluffs Parkway and Barnes Road. (See Map)

Homes in Northeast Colorado Springs are in Colorado Springs School District 11 with the exception of Woodland Hills (Woodmen and Union) that is part of Academy School District 20.

Homes in N/E Colorado Springs sold the quickest in September, at just 63 days and they took the longest to sell in November, at 102 days.

Colorado Springs Housing Market Snapshot for April 2011

The Colorado Springs real estate market is quite diverse. House prices and sales vary widely from neighborhood to neighborhood. Here is a housing market snapshot for the different areas of Colorado Springs, for April 2011.

In about half the areas, inventory went down and sales went up for 2 months in a row!  Other areas saw an increase in average sales price. So, there appears to be good news in almost ALL areas on Colorado Springs this Spring!
