Things to Do in Colorado Springs - Hike Red Rock CanyonThe first day of Daylight savings (yesterday) our family went for a hike in Red Rock Canyon. Our oldest son had been there during Summer camp once, but we had not ever experienced Red Rock Canyon. WOW. For as long as we have called Colorado Springs “home” we had never experienced Red Rock Canyon… and it is in our OWN backyard! (I guess we are all guilty of that sometimes …) There are places for off-leash dogs, bicycle riding and massive amounts of easy, intermediate and advanced hiking trails. We spent over 2 hours on the easy and intermediate trails, taking in the beauty of the Red Rocks and the Blue Sky …
Next time you have some time to hike around and enjoy living in Colorado Springs … Check out Red Rock Canyon! Thanks for reading our Colorado Springs Real Estate Blog! Posted on March 9th, 2009 by Mariana Wagner

Pictures of Colorado Springs from Mariana Wagner of the Wagner iTeamThe Wagner iTeam is a Colorado Springs Real Estate team. In addition to taking pictures of homes for sale in Colorado Springs for our team, I also love taking pictures of Colorado Springs. We live in such a beautiful part of the world, and there is always something awesome to snap a photo of. I post the pictures of Colorado Springs that I take on Flickr: www.flickr.com/photos/ColoradoSpringsRealEstate And the especially good ones, I will also post to our new Colorado Springs Picture Blog: ColoradoSpringsPix.wordpress.com (Occasionally, I will post other local Colorado Springs photographer’s photos on this blog, as well - with their permission of course…) Here are a few of my favorite pictures of Colorado Springs:
And here is a picture of a sunset in Pueblo, Colorado:

Hey Bob … THIS is Pikes Peak.In case you were wondering … THIS is Pikes Peak … and it is located in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Read More about the “The Republican U.S. Senate candidate [Bob Schaffer] on Wednesday [who] unveiled his first television ad, with the theme “Colorado is my life.” “I proposed to my wife, Maureen, on top of Pikes Peak,” Schaffer says in the ad, gesturing behind him as the couple’s picture appears with a snow-covered mountain in the background. The mountain pictured in the ad, though, isn’t Pikes Peak; it’s Mount McKinley in Alaska.” http://www.gazette.com/articles/peak_36330___article.html/pikes_schaffer.html LOL.
