Security Colorado Springs Homes and Real Estate Market

The Security Colorado Springs real estate market is in the southern part of Colorado Springs, south of Drennan Road and west of Powers Boulevard and is located to the immediate north of the Widefield neighborhoods. (Check Out the Map of Security) The Security area of Colorado Springs is close to Peterson Air Force Base, Schriever AFB and just a few minutes drive to Fort Carson Army Base.

If you drive anywhere on the southeast side of Colorado Springs, you will recognize the Security water tower – the one shown in this picture. This is the “map marker” for Security – and it even looks like one too!

The Security real estate market is made up of mature neighborhoods with trees and new neighborhoods with homes in and around the low $100,000’s (resale) – $300,000 (new) mark. Many homes are about 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a 1-2 car garage.
