Wells Fargo Bank Sues Itself [In Case You Were Wondering What They Were Up To]

The Colorado Springs Real Estate Connection works with Wells Fargo Bank NA on several levels.

Some of our home buyers use Wells Fargo to obtain a new loan when purchasing a home for sale in Colorado Springs.

Other clients of ours are facing a foreclosure and so we help them “short sale” their home. This happens because they can no longer afford their mortgage payment – and sometimes the mortgage holder/lender/bank is Wells Fargo. In these cases, we are CONSTANTLY dealing/negotiating with Wells Fargo – often several times a day.

Anyway - Because of this, we found the following article to be HILARIOUS! It has GOT to be the epitome of MORONIC bank behavior we have EVER SEEN.

Here is an excerpt from the Fox Business article that made us almost cry with laughter:

“Wells Fargo hired Florida Default Law Group., P.L., of Tampa, Fla., to file the lawsuit against itself.
And then Wells Fargo hired another Tampa law firm — Kass, Shuler, Solomon, Spector, Foyle & Singer P.A. — to defend itself against its own lawsuit, according to court documents.” – Wells Fargo Bank Sues Itself, by Al Lewis

I used to wonder why it took hours/days/months to get a hold of anyone at Wells Fargo Bank NA – Now I know why. They have been , um … busy.

   The last line in this article summed it up nicely:

   “I hope Wells Fargo loses this case and ends up having to drag itself all the way to the Supreme Court.”
